To understand child abuse is impossible, but to understand the psychological effects is possible. I am simply here to write a paper, a thesis, to enlighten you the reader. Before I get started, I will add a bit of a personal note. I strongly disbelieve many of the studies and stories of people ending up exactly like their parents, or whoever victimized them with abuse. I say this with the confidence and the peace I sustain to this day with the events past, and the peace I hold dear in my heart. Inevitably though, the psychological effects of child abuse are both permanent and can be very damaging without the proper attention and care. ----
